Introduction

This is an acrylic painting I created inspired by Satoshi Kon's film Paprika. The film primarily explores the surreal interplay between dreams and reality. I aimed to depict a scene from the dream sequence in Paprika, specifically the celebration. I combined colorful sequins with vivid acrylic paints to convey the scale and liveliness of the celebration, as well as the disorienting feeling of being caught in a bizarre dream.
